Cleaning

In order to prevent dirt, humidity, and dust mites settling deep into the fibers of your rug or carpet tiles, make sure to vacuum at least once per week.

When vacuuming a rug, take care around the tassels at each end in order to prevent threads becoming loose and unravelling over time.

Ventilation is an important part of keeping a home healthy. It helps get rid of odours, indoor pollutants, and eliminates moisture, preventing mould in a variety of different locations.

In order to prevent your rug or carpet tiles from attracting moisture and mould, make sure you vacuum and clean them regularly and air out the house on a regular basis.

When cleaning your rug or carpet tiles, avoid a wet wash. Not only does this take longer to dry, creating a damp environment which easily breeds mould, but it can cause discoloration of the finished product.

Instead, spray the dirty spot with stain remover spray, let it soak for 5-10 minutes, then gently blot it dry.
